Oracle HCM introduces Data Loader support for creating Anytime Feedback, commonly called Person Notes. This enhancement allows you to efficiently upload feedback entries on behalf of any user for other employees using HCM Data Loader (HDL).

This feature is handy for organizations collecting mass feedback from other systems or external sources, enabling bulk uploads while preserving the identity of the actual feedback author.

Steps to Enable:

1. Navigation Path:
   My Client Groups > Data Exchange > View Business Objects

2. Search for:

   • Business Object: Common Note (under Talent Management)

3. Create and Upload File:

   • Prepare the .dat file or HDL template with all relevant details, such as:

     • Target person (employee)

     • Note text (feedback)

     • Author

     • Date

     • Note type

4. Upload the HDL file using the Load HDL Template option.

Tips and Considerations:

• Use Feedback Spotlight to review uploaded feedback.

• Ensure the author and note recipient are correctly mapped in the HDL file.

• Validate the data before submission to avoid rework.

Example:

You want to add performance feedback collected during a recent team survey. Prepare an HDL file listing all employees and include feedback received from their respective team leads. Assign the team lead as the author of each note and load it using the Common Note business object.
