Do I Need to Update or reconfiguration my old Checklists After 25A?

With the evolution of Oracle Journeys in Release 25A, Oracle introduced enhancements that unify legacy Checklist Templates and modern Journey experiences. However, organizations do not need to reconfigure their existing Enterprise Onboarding Journeys or associated tasks that were created in the Checklist Templates work area prior to the upgrade.

Here’s what remains intact:

• All existing tasks and steps within the journey

• Task sequences, rules, and participant settings

• Auto-assigned onboarding experiences already in use

Oracle ensures backward compatibility, allowing a smooth transition to the enhanced Journeys experience without the need to manually rework configurations. Organizations can optionally take advantage of new features introduced in 25A (e.g., contextual journeys, improved UI, advanced task types) without disrupting current workflows.
