1. Requirement:
When terminating a Line Manager, their direct reportees need to be reassigned to a new manager. This process ensures a smooth transition of managerial responsibilities.
2. Steps to Delegate a Position:

Identify the Current Manager and Their Reportees:
- Navigate to Me → Directory → My Organization Chart.
- Locate the Line Manager (e.g., Ben) and view their direct reportees.

Delegate the Position to Another Employee:
- Go to Manage Positions and search for Ben’s assigned position.
- In the Delegate Position field, assign the position to Amy Jackson.
- Click on Review → Submit.

Terminate the Current Line Manager’s Work Relationship:
- Go to Person Management, search for Ben, and open their profile.
- Under Personal and Employment, select Manage Work Relationship.
- Click on Action (down arrow) → Select Terminate.

Synchronize Person Assignments to Update Reporting Structure:
- Navigate to Tools → Schedule Process.
- Click Schedule New Process and search for "Synchronize Person Assignments from Position".
- Select Yes to apply the delegation enterprise-wide, or select No and choose the specific Legal Employer.
- Run the process and wait for completion.

Verify the Changes:
- Logout and log back in.
- Check the Organization Chart to confirm that Ben’s direct reportees are now assigned to Amy Jackson.
