How to Display Preferred Name in Oracle HCM

1. Overview:

The Preferred Name in Oracle HCM is stored in the KNOWN_AS column of the Person Names Table. To display it on pages and make it searchable, the Display Name and List Name formats need to be updated.

1. Navigate to Manage Person Name Formats.
2. Update the Display Name format to include the Preferred Name (Known As).
3. Modify the List Name format to include Preferred Name for sorting and searching.
4. Save the changes.
