In the talent review module after the performance appraisal is completed generally all the managers who have the sub ordinates and already whom they have rated will set together in a meeting room and you will have a talent review dashboard, a talent review dashboard consist of some box chart and all the managers will set together and they will have a review of what they have rated their workers as a combine discussion and during that time you are evaluating once again the people and if there are any changes somebody you have rated 3 but in the talent review meeting it was discussed and probably you want to make him 4 or 5 and that is one part of talent review meeting and another thing is that is the time where you are going to identity potential people in your organization who are high performers at the same time you will also identity those people who are low performers and you will have problem with both those who are medium that is fine but some body is very low performer probably you give them some chances to improve their performance in the coming year and those who are high performers with them risk of loss, the impact of loss is also we need to consider because somebody is very talented and very high performing person very potential person that person is always likely to leave your organization because somebody who is having sufficient knowledge, sufficient skills, sufficient potential why they stick to one organization if some other organization offer some other good packages of compensation they will resign from here and go because they are already having enough knowledge where ever they want to go they can fetch and they can go so there is always risk of loss is very high with the high performers because anytime some body can attract them and they can leave same way when they leave your organization they will put lot of impact we called it is impact of loss so in the talent review meeting that will be discussed and those who are the high performer or high potential people we try to keep them with organization and how you will try to keep them in the organization so you have to give them some special task some special assignment so it will attractive for them or you need to increase some compensation some special allowance an all you have to give some rewards that is the reason most of the organization will have best employee awards or employee of the month some like that.
Talent Review is actually a meeting between managers, managers come they meet and they discuss their reportees, are there reportees working well or not, working well or what are they doing, what can be done to improve, can we give them a goal, can we add them to a succession plan, an all that, that is what talent review means.
