Using Advanced Mode & Helper Tools for Redwood Customizations

When working with Redwood pages in Oracle HCM, it’s best to use Guided Journeys to insert custom elements like hyperlinks or dashboards. If you need to go beyond what's available in Express Mode, Visual Builder Studio’s Advanced Mode offers deeper customization options—but it should only be used for scenarios outlined in Oracle documentation (e.g., dynamic field reordering).

To support the transition from Responsive UI (ADF) to Redwood UI, Oracle provides the Redwood Customization Helper Tool. This tool helps identify existing customizations and makes the migration process easier.
