Profile Management provides a framework for developing and managing talent profiles that meet your industry or organizational requirements. Profiles summarize the qualifications and skills of a person or a workforce structure such as a job or position.


Career Development

Workers and managers can use the Career Development work area to gain a comprehensive view of workers’ career information. They can see the workers’ career information and the detailed development plans they have established for achieving those targets. Both the worker and manager can view the worker’s career preferences and development plan in a single view.


Goal Plan Overview

A Goal Plan is a method of assigning a set of Goals to numerous employees at the same time. Creating Goal plans is required to allow employees to update their progress as well as duties against their supervisors' Goals. Goal Plans are tied to performance cycles, and a performance document will retrieve Goals for evaluation purposes based on the association provided. Goal plans can be created in the system by a Talent Administrator.


Succession Management Overview

You can build succession plans for replacing important individuals using succession management. Succession plans identify individuals who are ready now or who can learn the skills needed for occupations and positions that are not currently open. Succession planning can help you manage candidate development and guarantee a smooth handover.


Goal Sharing and Alignment

After the goal plan is made public, the top managers will set their own goals and share them with the people who work directly for them. The direct reports will make their own goal and make sure it fits with their manager's goal. They will also share their goals with their direct reports and/or friends. This process will be followed down the hierarchy.

Profile Management will help you to track the workers' skills, competencies, language,  skills, and accomplishments. Define the required or desired skills, degrees, and other qualifications of jobs and positions.

Previous talent review meeting rating should not show when the line manager is performing the talent review meeting

Background When a line manager is doing the talent review meeting with their direct reportee that timeline manager is getting the previous rating which should not be the case. This is the excepted behavior when a line manager is providing the talent rating for their direct reportees at the same time the line manager is getting the previous rating.


Can a Line Manager add or remove direct repartees in Talent Review Meeting

Only individuals who are added at the creation of the talent review meeting facilitators can add employees to the meeting. If the manager is not added as a facilitator, then they cannot add the employee to the meeting. It is not possible for the line manager to add or remove a direct reportee from a talent review meeting if they (the line manager) is not a facilitator

In the Setup and Maintenance work area, from the Actions menu, select Go to Offerings. Select the Workforce Development offering and click Opt In Features. Edit the Career Development feature. Enable Career Ambassadors. Click on Enable Checkbox
